    Nocturnal Animal Tour - 'Meet the Woylies'                                     Tour Duration: 2 Hours (approx.)

    Animals with personality
    Discover the Australian bushland at night on this nocturnal Woylie tour. Watch as possums, bandicoots, frogs and the critically endangered Woylies wake and begin their nightly activities.
    The Woylie (Brush-tailed Bettong) is a very rare member of the kangaroo family and this nocturnal tour is your only opportunity to see them in the Margaret River Region. Affectionately called the "kung-fu roo" by the tour guides for their amazing agility and quick reflexes, the Woylies are entertaining to watch
    This is a small group tour with a maximum of 12 guests. Tours depart around sunset, and run for approximately 2 hours including pickups and drop-offs. Pickups are available from accommodation in Busselton, Dunsborough & surrounds and Cowaramup town centre. (Margaret River by arrangement and subject to availability). Pickup locations and times will be confirmed after booking

    Whale Watching with Legend Charters. Departs from Busselton Jetty just 10 minutes away....

    Humpback, Southern Right, Minke and Blue Whales use our little corner of the world as a nursery, playground and rest haven during their migration up and down the coast each year. They are often as curious about us as we are about them, coming close to the boat to check us out. Both Dolphins and Seals are also regularly sighted during our tours.

    We keep group sizes small, so everyone gets a good view and have a huge covered viewing platform for your comfort. Our knowledgeable marine commentary will keep you informed and our friendly staff are here to assist you. We are able to boast a 95% success rate for sightings We are proud of our growing reputation for providing quality service with generous hospitality.
    Families and children are especially welcome and (weather permitting) children will be offered the opportunity to take a turn at the wheel on the flybridge on the way in!!  Our crew offer a full tour of the boat and equipment for all interested passengers.     Your cruise includes:

    • Commentary from our knowledgeable crew about local marine wildlife

    Legend Charters conducts 2-3 hour whale watching cruises daily, weather permitting, during the six month whale watch season:

    June to August, Augusta – Departs 10.30am from the Davies Road Boatramp or Elliott Road, Augusta, returning at approximately 1.00pm.  Afternoon tours will depart at 1.30pm on demand.

    September to November, Busselton – Departs 9.30am from Busselton Jetty. 


    Naturaliste Charters:

    Naturaliste Charters has been operating professional whale watching tours out of Augusta and Dunsborough for more than 20 years. Cape Naturaliste’s unique location means we are able to offer a six-month whale-watching season from June to December.

    Our tours provide visitors with the opportunity to view Humpback Whales, Southern Right Whales, and the rare Blue and Minke Whales on both their northern and southern migrations.

    As you watch these majestic creatures breach and frolic, we guarantee you’ll be mesmerised by their agility. We also carry the latest hydrophonic equipment so you can listen to their haunting, yet beautiful sounds.

    Our whale watching vessel, the ‘Cetacean Explorer’ is fully equipped with the latest navigational and safety equipment, and provides outstanding viewing opportunities for all those on-board.

    Our crew are all trained in marine science and provide expert commentary, while guests enjoy complimentary tea (including herbal tea), coffee, milo, biscuits and water on-board.

    About our Trail Rides

    The Horse Resort offers trail rides to suit all levels of experience, from complete beginners all the way through to advanced riders.
    Our experienced guides will be at hand at all times, ensuring a relaxing and enjoyable experience whether you are taking it easy or exploring acres of rolling paddocks, dams, creeks and local wildlife.
    A standard trail ride will last for around 2 hours including a full briefing and costs $95.00/rider (regardless of age or experience).
