5th March 2018 The Deck at Port Geographe Marina - Our "Local"
OK, Its a Sunday night, and our dear neighbours and friends suggest a get together. Its really overdue our turn to invite them to ours, but the promised new "alfresco" area at home still isn't finished, so where better than our local "Yacht Club" The Deck Restaurant and Bar at Port Geo Marina. Better still you don't have to be a member. Norma just felt like a Parmie night, so she had the Chicken Parmigiana, which was generous and tasty - "Just the ticket" she said being uncharacteristically Aussie on the night. Graeme had the fish special which he loved, (He's a Kiwi, so it was the fush special, obviously) whilst Suzanne and I had our favourite Seafood Platter for two. This feast consists of 4 pices of fish, oysters, chilli mussels, calamari, too many chips, and salad, all for $62 for two. Graeme and I had a Beer Farm Lager and Pale Ale on tap, whilst the girls had a local SSB.
Where nicer to be, with your good mates, as the sun sets over the yacht masts, than this? But wait, there's more: Now here's the extra bonus for those of you lucky or wise enough to be staying Inn the Tuarts....Our guests get a 10% discount voucher for the meal (not drinks) which has to make our local TOP VALUE, in my opinion.
