This time we have a group including 5 competitors, from Sydney. Everyone's a winner, because just to finish this gruelling 3.8km swim, 180km bike ride and 42 km marathon, is a major achievement. Good Luck!

Since the magnificent experience of the inaugural Yallingup Surfilm Festival held in January 2010, the YSF Team has had some rest.

The next Yallingup Surfilm Festival will be held in January 2012.

This may seem many, many moons away, however there is fantastic news! Festival Director, Jesca Maas is planning several fabulous surf film screenings in Perth and Yallingup in the next 12 months in association with the Yallingup Surfilm Festival.

YSF’12 will be ready to receive film submission from 01 April – 01 October 2011. Check the YSF website in March 2011 for my details about submissions.

BE ACTIVE BUSSELTON JETTY SWIM 2012

The premier ocean swim around the magnificent Busselton Jetty, in the South West of Western Australia is on once again. The Be Active Busselton Jetty Swim 2012 event, will be held over 2 days, and includes entertainment, activities and family friendly fun for all ages. The swim itself will take place on the morning of Sunday 5th February 2012.

The course is a swim of 3.6 km around the iconic Busselton Jetty. Individual competitors and teams of two and four persons will take part in one of South West WA’s most famous sporting events.

Entries will open on 1st October 2011, with an early bird competition for those who enter before 30 November 2011, to go into the draw to win a fantastic Busselton Jetty Swim prize pack.

Be a part of the action and the atmosphere and enter the best jetty swim in the world!

Western Australia`s round of the Australian Rally Championship - The Quit Forest Rally - attracts Australia`s best cars and drivers, including the best classic cars. The rally also incorporates motor bikes, making it a weekend of Motor Sport Extravaganza.

Spectators can get up close to the action on the Busselton foreshore, Nannup plantations, and the Service Park, in the main street of Nannup.
