The aim of these terms and conditions is to facilitate the most efficient operation of the Inn the Tuarts Guest Lodge, and the peaceful enjoyment by our valued guests of this lovely property and its surrounds. Your willing compliance is greatly
appreciated.

Kindly keep in mind: This is a small and very individual privately owned establishment (with owners who are working as hard as you do)and not one of those anonymous big chain hotels: PLEASE DON'T BOOK if you do not accept these conditions - to prevent any MUTUAL disappointment.

WE ARE AN ADULT RETREAT

We remind all guests that we are an adult retreat catering for children 12 years and older.  Guests arriving with small children may not be able to stay and could forfeit their booking with no refund.  Please contact us before making your booking if you are unsure. 


Deposits Due and Balance is Required                                                                                                                                                       

Bookings made 15 or more days prior to arrival

Deposit per room is 1 night’s tariff .  The balance is due  14 days prior  to arrival .

Whole of Lodge, School holiday, Peak  or Events:  

50% of tariff  is required on booking and the balance is due 30 days prior to arrival

30 days or less than 30 days prior to arrival  -    No Refund 

Amendments:  Any changes to dates, rooms or bookings will incur a $50 Administration fee

Events - Leeuwin Concert, Southbound, Ironman, Cock of the Bay, Jetty Opening and any other publicised regional events. Peak Season - Easter, Australian Day, Anzac Weekend and Summer School Holidays

No shows or early departures (all bookings) -  No refund 

Fully paid gift vouchers are non refundable.    

ADVANCE PURCHASE 4 NIGHT MINIMUM BOOKINGS     Fully payable in advance and non refundable.                                       


For all Peak season, School holidays, Events and "Whole of Lodge" bookings made 30 days or more in advance - 50% deposit on booking confirmation. Balance due 30 days prior to arrival

For all other times and bookings made 14 days or more in advance - 1 night's tariff per room. Full balance due 14 days prior to arrival

The above conditions also apply to early departures, or amendments within the time frame/s stated.

Note: That these conditions only apply to bookings made directly on our website or by phone, fax, etc. Bookings made on 3rd party sites such as www,wotif.com or www.bookings.com, etc are not refundable.

Important Note: Travel insurance is available to cover against loss of pre-paid travel expenses, due to unforseen circumstances, such as accident, illness, etc. Ask for a domestic cancellation policy for Aust. residents, which may be as little as $30 pp, or it forms part of international travel insurance for overseas guests. Payment for bookings may be made by credit card, cheque or bank direct deposit (please call or e-mail for bank details). Clients wishing to pay cash can do so on arrival, when the pre-paid deposit will be refunded if required. We regret we do not accept payment in goats, camels or cowrie shells.


Check-in and Check-out times - Accommodation Busselton:

Check in is from 2.00 – 6.00 pm. If arriving later please contact us by phone or e-mail to ensure check-in arrangements can be made. Earlier check-in may be available on request subject to availability, and extra cost as per late check out. Important, Please note that requests for early/late check-in/out are requests only and will only be confirmed if you contact us on the day.

Check out is 10.00 am. Later check out times may be available subject to availability and the following extra charges:

For 2 or more night stays: First hour is free (subject to availability)  then $20 per hour up to 4 hours, or then an                   extra night's tariff.    1 night stays:   $20 per hour, or extra night if greater than 4 hours.

 

HOUSE RULES - ACCOMMODATION BUSSELTON WA

PUBLIC AREAS, NOISE, PARTIES AND ALCOHOL

Inn the Tuarts is a quality, Guest Lodge/Retreat for a mostly adult market seeking to escape the hustle and bustle and stresses of life.  For the comfort of others we request that all guests maintain low levels of noise and appropriate social behaviour in and around the property at all times.

GUEST LOUNGE – OPEN 8.30AM TO 9.30 PM

POOL AREA  AND BBQ FACILITIES – OPEN 8.30AM TO 9.30PM

Available at other times by arrangment

Guests are requested to observe closing times for public areas being the Pool Area and the Guest Lounge which is 9.30pm.  As Rooms 4 and 5 open onto the Pool Area, the Pool Area and the Pool will be closed from 9.30pm to 8.30am and the pool gates locked.

The property is not licensed to supply alcohol however, BYO is permitted.

Whilst we enjoy the occasional and responsible consumption of wine, beer or spirits in moderation, drunken, noisy or antisocial  inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated and such guests not complying with requests to immediately desist will be required to leave the property via a taxi to called relocated intoxicated guests if necessary.  No refund of tariff will be provided in such cases and any costs will be charged to the offending guest.

Parties in public areas or guest rooms are not permitted, with the exception of those specifically pre-booked functions as such weddings and anniversaries or events as arranged with consent of the owners.

This property is provided for paying guests and as such guests are advised that the property is not available for the use by any other persons including guest’s family or friends without the expressed permission of the owners.

LOSS OR DAMAGE TO PROPERTY

Damage to the property and/or loss of items from either the rooms or public areas will be charged for at retail prices and/or commercial trade hourly rates. A list of items and costs is available on request. The guest authorises the Manager to charge his/her credit card for any loss, damage or monetary contribution for which any guest is liable under these conditions or otherwise.

An inventory is provided within the room booklet – please check it and advise of any missing or damaged items as you could be charged losses or damages. 

NO SMOKING, PETS, GUEST’S PROPERTY AND WEBSITES

We have a strict  NO SMOKING policy for all indoor areas

The property must not be used for unlawful purposes.

We do not accommodate pets. Guests are notified that the owners have a dog – “Bob” a quiet, friendly, 6 y.o. Border Collie cross.

We have made every effort to represent the property accurately on our own and other websites, and in advertising. However, we will not be held liable for misinterpretation or inaccuracies on 3rd party sites or advertising. If you are unsure or information is unclear, we invite your enquiry.

Property left by a guest after departure will be held for 7 days, and will be returned by surface post if requested by the guest at post and packaging cost plus $20 for time and travel. (Please check all wardrobes and drawers before vacating the property).

CHILDREN

This property is an adult retreat. It is not recommended for children under 12, also we appreciate older children's respectful and appropriate behaviour.

PRIVACY POLICY

We collect information about you solely for the purpose of the legitimate operation of this accommodation business, and to refine and improve our service delivery. It is not shared or provided to others other than where essential as above, without your written permission. We will not contact you to promote Inn the Tuarts special offers, etc unless you fill in the “Membership” section on our website, or unless you otherwise request us to do so.
